Gulen Verdict Postponed Five Years
Judge Huseyin Eken stated that the court had reached its decision to postpone the final verdict in Gulen's case according to Article 4616 of the Conditional Release/Case and Charges Postponement Law. Gulen's three attorneys were present at this morning's hearing.
In a petition submitted to the court, attorneys Abdulkadir Aksoy, Orhan Erdemli and Murat Akinci claimed the decision to postpone the final verdict had no valid grounds. The lawyers demanded a continuation of the case and Gulen's release.
